Connect your site
Pair the plugin with your website record in AI Explorer Media and run the first validation.
- 1Open Website → Connections for the site you want to link.
- 2Click Add connection and choose CMS, then WordPress.
- 3Paste the site address exactly as it appears in WordPress (including https://).
- 4Paste the Connection ID and Shared Secret from the plugin screen.
- 5Click Connect and test — AI Explorer Media performs a signed handshake with your site.
What the test checks
Reachability of the connector endpoint, signature validity, plugin version compatibility and the capabilities your site grants.
Turn on live change notifications
- 1In WordPress, open AI Explorer Media → Settings → Event Dispatcher.
- 2Leave the address set to the AI Explorer Media production webhook: https://www.aiexplorermedia.com/api/public/hooks/website-sync-event
- 3Tick “Notify AI Explorer Media when content changes” and save.
Production address only
Your site should always point at the AI Explorer Media production webhook. Only use a different address if our support team gives you one for testing. Notifications are signed and carry no post content — AI Explorer Media fetches the change over the normal secure connection.
Updating credentials later
Use Update credentials on the connection card. Credentials are replaced in place — the connection, its bound resources and its content history are preserved. Turning notifications on or off never changes your Connection ID or Shared Secret.
