Install the WordPress Connector

Download, install and activate the connector plugin, then generate your connection credentials.

  1. 1Download the plugin ZIP from the Downloads page.
  2. 2In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and choose the ZIP file.
  3. 3Activate the AI Explorer Media Connector plugin.
  4. 4Open WordPress → AI Explorer Media → Connection.
  5. 5Click Generate connection.
  6. 6Copy the Connection ID.
  7. 7Copy the Shared Secret. It is shown once only — store it safely.
  8. 8In AI Explorer Media, go to Website → Connections.
  9. 9Click Add connection.
  10. 10Choose CMS → WordPress.
  11. 11Enter the site address, Connection ID and Shared Secret.
  12. 12Click Connect and test.

The Shared Secret is shown only once

If you lose it, generate a new connection in WordPress and update the credentials on the connection card in AI Explorer Media.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.0+
  • PHP 7.4+
  • HTTPS enabled on the site
  • Pretty permalinks enabled (Settings → Permalinks)
